You take the good and you take the bad. There you go and there you have the Facts of Life! The first stop in a tour of homes in Southern California is the dormitory featured in the 1980's sitcom Facts of Life first season opening credits. This building is on the Claremont Colleges campus in Claremont, CA. - IMG 4097

Next stop, the Gorn decides to visit Benson, the Governor and the rest of the staff (yes even Clayton) at the house used as the Governor's mansion in the 80s sitcom, Benson. This house is in Pasadena, CA - IMG 4101
Another angle of the Gorn with the Governor's mansion - closer to the angle used in the opening credits. - IMG 4102
Our next stop of homes takes us to the fictional town of Haddonfield, Illinois and the home of Michael Myers. Bad things happened in this house so we better keep moving on our tour. This house has been relocated from its original spot down the block in South Pasadena, CA - a lot of the locations from the movie Halloween are in this area. - IMG 4108
Here's the story. Of an Action Figure named Gorn and his travels around the world. The Gorn tries to shake off the creepy Michael Myers house by going to the opposite end of the spectrum - the house used in the filming of the Brady Bunch! Located in Studio City, CA, this home was recently restored back to look more like the house in the show after years of renovations to disguise it. - IMG 4110
Trying to keep the positive vibes going, the Gorn goes back to Milwaukee, IL to visit the Cunninghams. The real life home of Richie and Family is actually just down the street from Paramount Pictures in the Handcock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. - IMG 4111
The Gorn was tired from the tour of homes, but didn't get any rest at this location - the house where Freddy Kreuger first entered the dreams of Nancy in her town of Springwood, Ohio. The real life Nightmare house is in Hollywood - not that far from the Walk of Fame and the Sunset strip. - IMG 4115
The Gorn tries to relax on the Lanai with Blanche, Dorothy, Rose, and Sophia in their beautiful Miami home. Looks like the house is getting painted, so The Gorn missed the ladies. The real life Golden Girls house is in the exclusive Brentwood neighborhood in West Los Angeles. - IMG 4116
On the way home, the Gorn stops to thank the firefighters at Station 51. This fire station in Carson, CA was used in the 1970s show "Emergency!"
