The culmination of over a year’s worth of work is Monday with the grand opening of the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage at Disneyland. I am excited and exhausted all at once. I have a lot to do yet this weekend and hopefully my three-day weekend next weekend will give me some well earned rest and a chance to get back into the rest of my life.
It is funny, I look back at the last month and a half and my life really has been dominated by work. It is all worthwhile as I see kids face’s light up as they find Nemo. I of course was thrilled to get my face into the AP newsletter Backstage pass as well as on the cover of the Disneyland Line (the cast newsletter – I’m on this week’s cover with a bunch of the opening crew cast). I was also featured in some B-Roll for Cast TV. Monday I will have a front row seat for the opening ceremony of the attraction, and I feel happy that my third attraction gets all the bells and whistles for an opening.
That’s it for now. I will return next week to a more regularish schedule.
