No earthquakes today, but it was certainly wet! We arrived to a soggy Resort and first headed back to Tokyo Disneyland. We were a bit later arriving today and by the time we arrived at the Resort, all Fastpasses for Buzz were gone. We decided to check out One Man’s Dream II: The Magic Lives On in the Tomorrowland Theater. It was a cute little show and best of all, it was covered out of the elements. After wandering around in the rain for a bit, we headed to Honey, I Shrunk the Audience aka MicroAdventure! One thing I noticed was a large contingent of Chinese vacationers who had translation devices and managed to push their way forward in the crowd. It made me think, with Hong Kong Disneyland opening next year, I wonder if they will see a drop in tourism from other parts of Asia.

After our MicroAdventure, we headed to grab some lunch at the Tomorrowland Terrace. Fortune was with us as we also were able to see the rainy day cavalcade pass by the restaurant as we were eating. We were stuck at an outside table which was cold, but at least it wasn’t directly the rain. I love their rainy day cavalcade – I think its probably better than some regular parades in other parks. A bit later, there was also a rainy day Halloween version which involved the Omnibus and this huge pumpkin thing. Man, they are ready for anything!

We headed over to Tokyo DisneySea to kill some time and decided to ride Indy. It was surprisingly not busy at the park at all and we were thankful that we were able to hit some of our favorites with little to no wait. We stayed in the park until closing and got to see Fireworks in the misty, rainy sky. Pretty surreal, but Tokyo fireworks are probably the one entertainment offering that doesn’t surpass Stateside parks. I am not sure if it there is a cultural, business, or good neighbor reason they don’t do huge lengthy shows like they do in the states. I would imagine its a combo of all three.

Another day in the parks in the books. Tomorrow will be super exciting. Its our last day and we get the behind the scenes tour of Buzz as well as our final day to get all of the attractions we are still missing from our checklist. The rain hasn’t helped us!
