I had a great time at their wedding which took place in July in Griffith Park – just below the Observatory! It was great to see all of Kris’ relatives, some who I haven’t seen since the late 1980s and early 1990s. I left the wedding with a sincere bond of family – mainly due to the small number of attendees, but also from the fact that people I met for the first time talked to me like I was one of the family and made me feel welcome. It was a really special day. I love these small family weddings just as much as the classic weddings. I do think that when the day comes that I get married, my ceremony is going to be somewhere on the scale of Kris’ wedding as well as Mark’s wedding and Susie’s wedding. My days of wanting a wedding from the Sound of Music are pretty much over.
