Three days into my New Year’s resolution and I’ve resorted to a Follow Friday! Actually, it is one of the filler post categories that I have thought of to keep things going when there is not much happening.
For future #FF’s I will try and link to a Web Site, a Twitter Account, and an Instagram account that I think are great.
One of the things I like is good photography, so I encourage you all to read In Focus with Alan Taylor at http://www.theatlantic.com/infocus/ (Twitter: @in_focus). Alan has a great eye for photos and I enjoy each of his entries. Back in April 2013, he asked readers to send in requests for news photos and I submitted a request for a good hi-res photo of the 1964 Good Friday Quake in Alaska. His response was the 4th photo in his post.
The Twitter follow of the week is @mlbcathedrals – This twitter account highlights great photos of Ballparks from the past, present and and the occasional rendering of future or could-have-beens. For whatever strange reason, I love ballparks and when teams build new ones and this account is easily my favorite recent follow.
Instagram’s #FF is PhotoJBartlett – Jeff is a freelance photographer based in Jasper NP in Alberta, Canada. I loved my visit to Banff and Jasper NPs back in 2009, so it is nice to revisit the area during different times of the year.
