When You Leave Things Alone

Life has a way of making things more difficult when you just skate by and let things be and not being proactive. That statement is true not only in love, health, career, and life but also in a smaller (Not as important) things like this site.

Don’t get me wrong, I am pretty happy with where my web site is, especially considering the amount of time that I have for it. Is it perfect? No! And I have noted here a bunch of times since I relaunched last year that I want to make it more of what I want it to be. However, the back of house things like servers, email, and domains are languishing for no reason other than its easy to just leave it alone.

Today, I read an article that really put the whole thing in perspective and I really need to make sure I stay on top of things and not ignore what I need to do for I run the risk of leaving the site in a position where it will crash and be lost forever. I guess this is what happens when you re-commit yourself to something! You notice all the warts, but also seethe good stuff that comes out of being attentive. Not only that, but if there is a problem, no matter how difficult, you can deal with it and prevent it from being a bigger issue.

Re-reading this post it seems very philosophical. Way more than my original post for Woman Crush Wednesdays! Ha Ha I’ll save that for some other time….
