Well the job listing on the Disneyland job line turned out to be a hoax. However all is not lost. I managed to get a direct number to the casting office so I can harass the lady who works there for jobs when they open up.
I am leaning ever so close to going for the tour guide school. I think the only thing holding me back is the cost of tuition. It is pretty steep, but in the long run, I think it is worth it. I am just concerned about making money in the short term – well there is always bussing tables or parking cars at Universal Studios.
At dinner at the La Brea Bakery at Downtown Disney, I was thwarted in my dessert attempt twice times. It was a sign from someone not to have dessert that night. First, I asked for some cookies. They came back and said that they were out of cookies. Then I said I’d like a brownie. Then they came back and said that Roger’s dessert was no good and they didn’t want to serve it. I again asked about the brownies and they said that it had nuts. Nuts. Better luck next time.
