Oh! I’m still waiting to see if I will be moving into a new apartment. I met my new downstairs neighbor and she seems real nice. Too bad I will probably leave.
I did try and take some old VHS and laserdiscs to trade in at Amoeba Records, but the trade in desk was closed by the time I got there. Need to remember that it closes at 9pm and that the store closes by 11 most days of the week.
Thank god Hong Kong is coming up in four weeks. I need a break from work. One of the things I want to get away from is the never-ending crowds. Then I remember I am going to one of the most densely populated cities on the planet. Perhaps that is why my next trip will be to some barren corner of Australia. I swear sometimes I am going to end up being a hermit.
Summer doldrums are here (its that 6-4 or 3-1 shifts that kill ya and make for not much going on) and pretty much the only thing I have done is catch up on some movies. I will post a few reviews in the next day or so.
