Today was another special treat this year at work. The Stanley Cup – the championship trophy for the National Hockey League (for those of you living under a rock) paid a visit to the resort today and the Submarine Voyage. It was a bit chaotic around the attraction this morning, but I was able to get a few snaps of the trophy on the ride as well as one with me. I am looking for my memory card reader for my computer so I can upload them.
Other than that it has been pretty mundane around here. I did manage to see the latest Disney-Pixar film Ratatouie. I personally thought it was one of their better movies and certainly would like to see it again.
I am still working 11 hours a day at work, but now only 5 days a week so I at least can charge my batteries. I took a few days off and made a long weekend next week. I am not sure if I am going to go out of town or just hang out. Tiffany also wants to go to a Star Trek convention in Las Vegas. If I went, it would be my first convention in YEARS. I wouldn’t even know what to do with myself, but I am actually marginally excited by the prospect. Since there is no Trek on TV right now this reminds me of the glory days pre-TNG.
