Dusting off the website – it’s been over a year since I have been able to do anything. New Job, New Life, New Country, etc. etc.
At any rate, updated 67 Gorn photos to start to clear the backlog of 2025 photos. Hoping to get caught up before my next trip at the end of the month. Currently 14 more albums to post to cover all of 2025 and 2 new galleries for 2026 ready to go. I really have no one to blame but myself for doing nothing for so long.
I think I did a couple of posts on the Daily Update for the whole year, which is not what I was hoping for, but I am truing to also add some old IG posts on the site when I can. I missed the 30th anniversary last year to do anything, and compared to the hullabaloo for the 25th, this was a big fat disappointment. The landscape of online has changed so dramatically in the last 30 years of having this website, never would I have imagined I would need to be worried about AI content scrapers stealing content.
Much to do, but as I have aged, I am really contemplating the future – or at least how this website will evolve over the next 20-30 years of my life. I have a feeling it will be getting simpler and simpler and not overly complex unless I can figure out this new fangled AI coding to help make things easier.
